MAP ANNOUNCES 13.1% INCREASE IN NET PROFIT FOR Q1 2025

Jakarta, April 30th, 2025 – PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), the leading lifestyle retailer in Indonesia, today released its Q1 2025 results.

For the first quarter, MAP reported a 5.8% increase in net revenue to Rp9.3 trillion from Rp8.8 trillion in the same period last year. Gross profit went up from Rp3.7 trillion to Rp4.1 trillion, while operating profit increased 7.8% to Rp769 billion, and EBITDA amounted to Rp1.5 trillion. On the bottom line, MAP’s net profit for the quarter grew by 13.1%, reaching Rp567 billion.

“We are encouraged by a good start to the year, with our first-quarter performance supported in part by the earlier timing of the Lebaran holiday. Stronger sell-through across all segments during the festive period helped set a positive tone despite ongoing market uncertainties and some external factors, including the delayed launch of the iPhone 16,” said Ratih D. Gianda, VP Investor Relations, Corporate Communications and Sustainability of MAP Group.

As part of its ongoing efforts to bring newness to the market, MAP further strengthened its brand portfolio by introducing Chloé, Christian Louboutin and Pazzion. This expansion supports the Group’s strategy to keep up with evolving customer preferences, while deepening its footprint in the fashion and lifestyle segments. At the same time, MAP remains focused on developing its digital initiatives, operating 51 online platforms as at the end of Q1 2025.

“As we carry on navigating an uncertain environment, MAP will continue to focus on staying adaptable and learning along the way. We are committed to providing curated products and delivering value to our customers and stakeholders, while maintaining disciplined inventory control and cost efficiency to strengthen our foundation for long-term growth”, Ratih concluded.
