MAP Announces 7% Surge In Net Revenue For First Quarter Of 2016

Jakarta, 29th April 2016 – PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), the leading lifestyle retailer in Indonesia today announced its financial result for the first quarter of 2016. Net revenue soared 7% to a record Rp 3.2 trillion – up from the Rp 2.9 trillion posted during the corresponding period in 2015. Operating profit was Rp 131 billion while net profit was Rp 15 billion (49.3% increase over first quarter 2015).


Commenting on the results, Fetty Kwartati, Corporate Secretary of MAP said, “Considering the prolonged global uncertainties and difficult operating environment, this is a reasonably good start to fiscal year 2016 for MAP. We have made good progress but we are hopeful of further improvements in the future. We are also seeing positive signs of momentum from our two new growth engines: and MAP Club.”


Sales at have been very encouraging since its launch in February 2016 while membership at MAP Club has soared significantly in the three months since its soft launch. Both are key drivers in our vision to become the leading omni-channel retailer in Indonesia.
