The first months of 2026 brought an energetic start across MAP Group Asia. From sporting events and community initiatives to festive gatherings and retail experiences, January and February reflected how movement, creativity, and connection continued to shape everyday moments across the portfolio.

The year began on an active note with Planet Sports Run 2026, where 8,000 runners gathered at ICE BSD. The event marked an energetic start to the year, bringing the running community together through the shared spirit of #UnlockYourBestTogether.
That sense of momentum continued beyond the track. At Jakarta Festive Wonders 2025, SOGO was named Retail Category winner, while SEIBU and Galeries Lafayette were also recognized for their contributions to the showcase, highlighting the continued presence of MAP brands within the city’s festive celebrations.

Alongside these moments, community initiatives remained an important part of the story. In Sunter, Starbucks partners worked alongside Bank Sampah Puspa Cindai Kana to repurpose plastic bottle caps into useful items, demonstrating how small collective actions can create a positive environmental impact.
Personal stories also found their place in the season’s celebrations. During Pandora’s Valentine’s Day Event, guests were invited to reflect on their chapters of love. Leya Princy and the Andersen sisters, Angelyne and Jacqueline Andersen, joined participants in creating personalised journals designed to preserve meaningful memories.

As the season of gatherings continued, brands across the portfolio created spaces for conversation and connection. At the Skechers Iftar Soirée, Joe Taslim and Enzy Storia joined guests for an evening centered on comfort in daily movement, with the Hands Free Slip Ins innovation highlighted for Ramadan.
Movement returned to the spotlight in Bali with Imaginaria Run 2026, where Imaginaria by Digimap hosted a 5K Fun Run on 14 February. Around 200 participants took part in the event, celebrating wellness and connection, while the experience continued in store with an Apple Watch showcase linking fitness with everyday technology.

Sport and lifestyle also came together through the Lacoste Padel Tournament, where players and guests gathered to celebrate the spirit of padel. The tournament reflected the brand’s effortless blend of performance and elegance both on and off the court.
Festive traditions were also reflected through culinary experiences. With The Foodhall Harmony of Fortune Blessing, curated ingredients highlighted Chinese New Year gatherings and reunion dinners, bringing families together around meaningful meals.

The season also welcomed a touch of sparkle as Swarovski introduced a vibrant pop-up space for Ramadan and Eid. The space featured iconic crystals and curated gifting pieces designed for thoughtful moments and meaningful celebrations.
Together, these early moments of the year reflect how MAP continues to bring together retail, lifestyle, and community experiences across the region. As the months ahead unfold, this energy sets a positive tone for the year ahead.
