BINUS University and MAP Retail Academy Launch Breakthrough in Accelerated Education

Jakarta, 2 June 2025 – BINUS University and PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk (MAP), through the MAP Retail Academy, have strengthened their strategic partnership by launching a program designed to fast-track the educational journey of employees. One of the key initiatives under this collaboration is the School of Leadership, which offers high-potential MAP Group employees the opportunity to participate in a 3-month Leadership Program.
The outcome of this program is equivalent to two years of university education, allowing participants to complete their bachelor’s degree in just two and a half additional years-a significant advantage in accelerating access to higher education.
This initiative integrates academic accomplishment with real-world career development, enabling participants to grow professionally while at the same time, continuing their degree. MAP and BINUS Online belief that education is an essential aspect to success in career development, and this collaboration supports the goal.

The official signing ceremony took place at BINUS Anggrek Campus and was signed by Prof. Harjanto Prabowo, Vice President of BINUS Higher Education & Director of BINUS Online and Handaka Santosa, Director of MAP. The event was also attended by leaders from both organizations.
“This collaboration will be able to become a solution for developing human resources in the retail sector, especially in a continuously growing economy. We hope that the partnership between MAP Retail Academy and BINUS Online will support the career development of MAP employees and have a wide impact on the growth of the retail industry in the future,” said Handaka Santosa.
Prof. Harjanto on his statement added that “BINUS Online, as part of BINUS University, continues to strive to support and serve as a bridge between industry and the academic world. Not only through programs at BINUS Online, but MAP Retail Academy can also develop specialized career advancement programs in collaboration with various departments and study programs across BINUS University.”
