MAP Announces 14.2% Surge in Net Revenue for First Quarter 2017
Jakarta, 2 May 2017 – PT Mitra Adiperkasa Tbk, the leading lifestyle retailer in Indonesia today announced its financial result for first quarter 2017. Net revenue jumped 14.2% to Rp 3.6 trillion – up from the Rp 3.2 trillion posted during the corresponding period in 2016. Operating profit rose 39% to Rp 183 billion while net profit surged 282% to Rp 59 billion compared to Rp 15 billion in the first quarter of 2016.
Commenting on the results, Fetty Kwartati, Head of Corporate Communication of MAP said, “We are off to a good start for 2017. Going forward, we remain watchful of the ongoing development and macroeconomic concerns surrounding China, USA and Europe. But we are cautiously optimistic about fiscal year 2017.
