August at MAP: Stories of Energy and Momentum

August carried a different rhythm, defined by energy and imagination that moved across MAP Group Asia. Collaborations, openings, and creative experiences revealed the breadth of our portfolio and the innovative spirit that continues to shape the way we grow.

The month began in the Philippines with Foot Locker introducing its first reimagined store in Southeast Asia. More than a retail space, it set a new benchmark for sneaker culture with its sleek layout, exclusive releases, and immersive shopping experience.

That sense of energy continued in Indonesia, where Krispy Kreme and Crocs brought an unexpected collaboration to life. Their doughnut inspired designs blended humor and delight, proving that imagination can connect even the most unlikely worlds.

Movement carried the story forward in Bali, where the Maybank Marathon gathered thousands of runners. Supported by 2XU and HOKA as official sponsors, the event was not only about endurance but also about community and celebration.

Fashion added its own voice to the season. Max Mara presented its Pre-Fall 2025 collection in an exclusive showing hosted by Tasya Farasya, where bold silhouettes brought elegance and confidence.

That forward looking spirit was echoed in technology. Digiplus announced collaborations with Motorola Indonesia and Infinix, expanding digital access with faster and more versatile solutions for customers.

Lifestyle and creativity also played their part. Godiva partnered with artist Kasing Lung to transform LABUBU into a chocolate wonderland, blending artistry with indulgence to create sweet moments of joy.

The focus on growth shaped the latter part of the month. MAPGROW 2.0, part of the MAP Retail Academy, gave students valuable hands-on experience and future ready skills to prepare them for careers in retail.

August closed with a celebration of imagination as Digimap collaborated with artist Muklay to design bold, playful tech accessories that turned everyday items into artistic statements.

The close of August left an impression of momentum. Each launch and collaboration not only marked success in the present but also pointed toward new opportunities ahead, setting the stage for what comes next.
