“We are pleased to see that MAP delivered another resilient performance in the second quarter of the year. This reflects the strength of MAP’s diversified portfolio and the continued relevance of our brands to consumers,” said Ratih D. Gianda, VP of Investor Relations, Corporate Communications and Sustainability at MAP Group.
In line with the Company’s strategy to strengthen brand portfolio and regional presence, MAP introduced Timberland in Thailand, followed by Abercrombie & Fitch and Hollister in the Philippines. Alongside these efforts, the Company continued to enhance its operational efficiency through focused cost management and back-end process improvements, while advancing its automation and digitalisation initiatives to better serve customers across all channels.
As part of its commitment to workplace culture and people development, MAP was recognized with several prestigious awards, including “Best Companies to Work For in Asia” from HR Asia, “Best Soft Skills Training Program” from the Employee Experience Awards, and “Best Learning & Development” from HR Excellence by SWA.
“As we navigate ongoing macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainties, we will maintain a cautious and prudent approach to managing the business. This includes staying close to our customers, strengthening our omni-channel capabilities and preserving the agility to respond as market conditions evolve.
